Wolfgang Brunner is project leader for Education for Strong Sustainability and Agency (ESSA). This program supports innovative tools and methods in teacher education. Participants develop and apply a holistic, cross-boundary approach to environmental and sustainability education in schools. Current activities are taking place in 20 institutions in 9 member countries of the Southern Africa Development Community.
