Weird Waves Ep.2 in Sweden

’“Baltic.” Just the sound of that name puts a little chill along the spine, and it’s not a surprise. This is a body of water almost completely enclosed by northern Europe, and with one coast facing Sweden, you have to guess it is not trunks weather. But this strange brackish sea hides some very fun little moments, and Dylan’s been talking to friend and Swedish pro surfer Freddie Meadows about scoring it for years. It seems his chance has arrived — but then his boards and wetsuits don’t. Dylan’s forced to fall back on to the kindness of new friends, and fortunately, friendship is something Swedish people possess in large quantities. As well as a touching and almost unfathomable surf stoke, which seems born from the sea’s ruggedness.
